Fire Restoration

Fire Restoration

One of the favorite parts of working in the restoration industry is that every day, our certified professionals have the opportunity to change people’s lives. When a customer calls upon our company, during some of the most difficult periods they will experience, we are honored by the opportunity we have to be the ones to help our customers pick up the pieces and get them back to their everyday life and their pre-loss condition.

Dealing with fires and restoring the damage they leave behind, we sometimes forget the impact our work has. We become inspired by the experience and other professionals who also work in this industry. Restoring not only a building or a home, but restoring lives. The team at Steam Action Restoration is passionate about sharing just how important, the work we do truly is. The sad truth is that in the United States there is a fire every 24 seconds. This means that every 24 seconds we have the opportunity to serve our community in a big way.

There are three types of property damage to examine during a fire loss. Fire, smoke, and water. Although water is not technically considered a fire loss, water damage from the fire department to put the fire out is part of the equation. When the fire is out, restoration professionals step in and start the process to restore. Restoration professionals need to remove all components that have been affected by the water because if the water damage isn’t resolved properly, it can all lead to mold, mildew, and even wood rot. Smoke and soot damage leads to discoloration and harmful odors and will contaminate the home. Smoke can settle into fabrics, furniture, and belongings leaving a thick film over everything. By removing all damaged components and also removing unrestorable items, you promote a healthier and safer environment.

Steam Action’s IICRC certified team will remove all damaged components and remove any flooring contaminated with soot, dust, and other harmful elements, We will evaluate the structural framing checking all the unseen parts as well as making sure your property is up to the safety standards, If the structure can be saved, we will treat it with odor counteracts to ensure no microbial contamination is present.

At the end of our day, our job is to restore, but we go beyond that! We serve our community and surrounding areas and do our best to provide service to our customers. It’s during a time when they are experiencing hardship that we never forget our job doesn’t end at restoring just the property, it goes further. Restoring the sense of hope in tragedy is the most rewarding for all of us here at Steam Action Restoration.
